John Ross was born 1878 in Arkansas. They all moved to Oklahoma in the 1900s. I believe this is the same Hise family. John and Ivy had a daughter Velma Mae Ross who is my great grandmother. She married Jesse Fallis Powell. He was born 1896 in Cravens OK. They had several children. Including my grandfather Everett F Powell born 1926 Hartshorn Oklahoma. Everett married Beatrice Elizabeth Connolly. They had several Children including my father Ricky F Powell born 1953 in Washington. I am Dianna Powell born 1986 in Washington. I was told Ivy Hise was Sioux and married in to the Cherokee blood line. This is all I have. Diannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10025307193201583032noreply@blogger.com
